With the move to Christ’s College, we will be carrying out groundwork at the school, in order to get the field ready to play baseball. For this season, the primary aim is to build a mound, cut out the home plate area, and erect a backstop that can be taken up and down for games and practices.
The weekends put aside for this work are March 29th/30th and April 5th/6th
We will need work parties of 6 people on each of those 4 dates (both am and pm) although more are always welcome. These work parties are being organised by Rob W and Sheila, so if you haven’t spoken to them yet, then please contact them and let them know when you can help out. Everyone in the club should aim to make themselves available for at least one half day
