We've been building community around baseball in Guildford for over three decades — and we even built our own diamond at Kings College. Whether you've never held a baseball bat or you've played for years, you're welcome here.
From competing in the British Baseball Federation's Divisions 3 and 5 to running Saturday junior sessions for kids 14 and under — the Mavericks are the home of baseball in Surrey.

Most baseball clubs rely on borrowed pitches. We went further — the Mavericks raised funds and built a dedicated diamond at Kings College. A proper home ground with real bases, a pitcher's mound, and outfield grass.
Sunday fixtures. Thursday evening training. All of it right here in Guildford — no long drives, no pitch-sharing battles.
Boys and girls aged 4–14. Safe, structured, and genuinely fun — coached by experienced club members every Saturday morning at Kings College.
No experience or kit needed. Your child's first two sessions are always free.

I'd never played baseball in my life. Turned up on a Thursday, someone lent me a glove, and I was hitting by session three. Best decision I made.
My daughter was nervous about joining but the coaches were brilliant. She's been coming every Saturday for two years now and absolutely loves it.
