Tony Oliva returned for his second year as head coach and the first team delivered a dominant campaign — going unbeaten through the Double-A regular season, outscoring opponents by an average of 16–2 across 12 games. It was only the second time in club history the first team had gone unbeaten in the regular season.
Kevin Zanes was dominant on the mound throughout. The squad of 12 showed remarkable consistency and depth. John Kristensen won MVP.
The playoffs ended in the semi-finals with a defeat to Herts, after Guildford had eliminated Daws Hill in the first round.
The second team finished 6–4 in Single-A — 3rd in division — with Chris Ward winning MVP. A positive campaign for the development squad.
The 2012 season saw an impressive wave of new talent: John Gray, John Sparks, Tetsuro Shinkawa, Rob Crainie, Tristan O'Keefe, Dan Francis, Callum Hawkes, Carlos Garcia, Matt Taylor, and Hayden Wynne all joined the club — several of whom would go on to become long-serving contributors.
